Journal of Government and Social Issues (JGSI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Government Studies, University of Lampung. It addresses the complexity of government and social issues, which are often analyzed from a single perspective. Recognizing global challenges in public service and governance quality—especially in patronage democracies—JGSI promotes multidisciplinary research from local and international scholars. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
